Tree House

Shoe threw her a fleeting glance, bright eyed and grinning. He broke into a slight run, not of any crazy speed. The fact that they were standing in a storm, hurrying the pace seemed like a good idea right about now. Yet it was all in good fun. Even Fawsew was able to keep a hold on Shoe's shoulder, having kept a respectable silence. He had never seen Shoe this way, the boy was naturally very aloof and alienated. Of course, however, Faw was going to use this to his advantage in joking around later.

Sinca finally regained composure when she saw that the "fridge" wasn't attacking her or anything else. She grabbed the handle againn and took a look oof what was inside... There was just plenty of meat...... Oh wait there was some... ah no it's meat again........

"Hey huh.... Dog is it ? How could you even say you're cooking if you don't even has vegetables in the house ? I mean like meats good but alimentation is actually based on 4 things, Fruit and Vegetable, Bread, Milk and then meat......"

She looked again in the white freezing box and sighed. She closed the door and crossed her arm trying to think about something.

"Do you have wheat or flour somewhere ?"

Keomai broke out into a trot, smiling and even laughing a little, slipping on the mud here adn there, but not falling. She looked over to shoe, giggling softly, giving his hand a squeeze.

Dog just laughed, looking at Sinca. "'round here its easier to get a hold of meat than veggies little lady." She looked over to Jur. before looking at the gryphs

He listened to her laugh, and even managed a small one himself. As they bounded their way through the wet leaves and mud, it grew funnier for some reason. Though it wasn't long before they'd reached the tree house.

"Mean like that there's also........ no nothing ? Except meat ? Oh and sorry I forgot to introduce myself, My name is Sinca"

She smiled as she introduced herself and casually put her hands on her hips. As she did so she touched the newly done tattoo and her expression changed, it was hurting so much.

"Ugh..."

Keomai looked around, before slowing. "H-hey shoe... didn't we already pass that tree...?" She blinked, a little more seriousness in the air.

Dog looked at the girl "Sinca, is it? i didn't mean that there is no veggies, but their harder to come by..?" She peered over the tattoo. "Risky, for such a shy girl isn't it?"

Sinca looked at the floor as her expression got more angrier then painful and calmed down before answering.

" I... Woke up this morning with it on my hips. I can't even remember what happened after I entered the Inn I decided to sleep at yesterday, and no weird things seems to happen since then....."

She sighed and looked at the window for a moment.

"Plus I think it's actually my fault if there's this strange rain outside, didn't you noticed that the moment I got in, it kind of get..... less "Life-sucking" ?"

He took a quick glance around. Shoe was youre tipical man. To him, there was no such thing as lost, no such thing as asking for directions. Though he had lost the sense of playfulness that hung in the air only moments ago.
Fawsew was royaly annoyed by this, and his respctful silence was broken.
"We're lost aren't we?!"
The annoyed cowpig switched shoulders on the boy as he tried to look around.

These were the sister woods to Shoe's homelands across the sea, he didn't know them quite so well. In the middle of a storm, everything was harder to see. Through the rain and the mist rising off the leaf covered floor which were warmed by the earlier sun, his narrowed eyes peered ahead of them. Trying to find the right path. They had gone further then he realised away from the house. He only grew nervous of the thought of not having FlipFlop near him. The two were inseperable since childhood, he hoped Flip wasn't afraid or worried...
"Maybe... this way."

Speaking of FlipFlop, the griffon was having a blast playing tug-of-war. He hadn't yet realised that Shoe even left the house yet. However, once he would, he would surely grow tense. He had been protecting the boy for as long as he could remember.

Rhea tugged tightly on the meat, ripping it the meat some. She jumped lowering herself closer to the floor. It had been a long time since she had a really good tug of war for meat.

keomai frowned a little, strating to walk a little closer to shoe, looking around not realising she was walking too close, locking feet with him, tripping herself, falling face first in the mud. "eep!"

Dog yawned a little, looking vack at her. "Sounds like a rough night." She held in the drunk jokes for the sake of the rest of the poeple.

"Why are you yawning at me ?"

Sinca was feeling uneasy, so she just got back in her shell and walk to a corner, leaned agaisn't the wall, got a canvas out of her bag (for the sake of everyone's mind, she's not getting all the things out of the tiny purse on her belt but from a bag she usually has in her back) as well as pencils and started to sketch things, really random things.

"grumble grumble"

Having been holding hands with her, he was pulled down, in an almost unconsious way since he was so focused on looking around. However he was steadier on his feet, and only fell to his knees, the wet mud sinking into his pants and splashing a few drops onto his shirt before looking at her. They were a little unlucky to fall in a place that wasn't totally covered with leaves.
He lifted her up, with a sorry look in his eye. For some reason, he was blameing himself for this, though he wouldn't let her know that.

Keo coughed a little, looking up, mud all over her face. She blinked, then laughed, bursting out into giggles, flopping back into the mud, unintentionally pulling him atop her, still laughing lightly. Playing in the mud is fun :3

Dog cleared her throat, figuring she'd gone too far. She looked down at her food. "Dear's ready.." She muttered, looking around at everyone.

Sinca (still in her corner) took a look around the piece and noticed that shoe still wasn't back with his friend..

"Isn't Shoe taking a lot of time to take his friend back ?, said sinca which still had a gloomy face and still stood still in her corner, sketching"

For a second he didn't understand what was so funny. She wasn't upset about being lost in a storm? She clearly wasn't fond of such storms, what could make her forget about it and want to wrestle in the mud?
He was mainly blankfaced, allowing her to pull him into and among the muck. Soft twigs, fat with absorbed water, snapping beneith his arms and he started to squirm a bit. Finnally starting to respond to her invatation to fool around.

A cunning grin on his face and a flash in his eye, he dragged his arm quickly along the floor, much like someone would do in a pool of water, sending a small wave of mud at her.

Fawsew had just dove away from the mud wave, he didn't enjoy being dirty, not in the least. "Shoe! Are you out of your mind!?"
In dodging the muddy wave, he found himself faceplanted into the mud. Tail out straight, twitching with aggravation, then it hung limply, the whisps of hair brushing against his back. As though he had given up on trying to stay clean this time. He lifted his head from the mud, and rested a cheek on a fist. Spitting out some mud from that faceplant, a serious and annoyed expression of his mug.
"p'tooy..."


FlipFlop had a firm grip on the meat, quickly snapping up more with a clap of his powerful beak as it slipped a little. However at the mention of Shoe's name, he let go all together and raised his head in an aleart way. The boy was missing! With a somewhat blank loof on his raptoral face, he griffon looked around, flashing his eyes too all parts of the house. With a distressed scream, he whirled around, scenting the air, and crashing out the door. The moist air held the boy's scent strong in the air, yet the floor was washed clean of any trace of him or Keomai. Yet the griffon, being skilled in tracking, continued to follow the trail.

Keomai laughed, falling over acting as if the wave was forcefull enough to do so, but as she went down, she scooped up mud and chunked it at Shoe, accidentally hitting him in the face lmao. She couldn't help but laugh, waiting for his reaction. this was just too amusing! She laughed, crawling over to him. "S-sorry hehe!" She reached up with both hands, whiping some of the mid out of his face, still giggling.

Dog nodded, looking to flipflop. "well there goes another one.." she muttered. "well, those of you who are eating, I'd suggest you come and get some...."

"coming"

Sinca slowly got up while putting back everything in her bag.

"only meat right ?"

She walked to the table and sat.

"If only I had thought to buy something while I still was in that village..."

Shoe was waiting for her to do exactally as she had done. When she got close, he quickly tackled her to the muddy floor, getting both her and himself covered.

Fawsew simply watched. VERY unamused. Suddenly, his ears perked up and he raised from the ground and pointed.
"It's FlipFlop!"

FlipFlop bounded over, and lept into the air with a "SKREEEE!" of joy.

Shoe stopped squirming about once he felt the shadow upon him. Though it seemed slowly, he looked up to see the mass of the beast coming down, full cannonball, upon them.

Keomai squeed and giggled, wrapping her arms around his waist as he tackled her. When Flipflop dropped on them she let out a struggled squeak, looking at shoe with one eye open. "What's flippy doing here?....!" Lol nickname.

Dog looked at her and shrugged. "meats just fine though..." She looked around. Sun was now playing a one sided tug-o-war with Rhea, which made this bounty hunter laugh. She smiled, cutting a slab of meat for herself.

Sinca finally ate her meat, after picking it a lot, making a lot of holes in it. She sighed when she had finished, looked aroung fo someplace to nap, stood up, walked to the part of the sofa which was unnoccupied by Jur and fake a nap, she she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep until everyone would be in the house, everyone she knew.....

"He must've gotten worried and came looking for us!" He said between chuckles, an arm raised as he patted the left side of the griffon's jaw, who let out a playful "Kreee"!

They were...all so filthy. Fawsew had had about enough. He still hadn't eaten AND now he REALLY wanted that bath. He was going to be sure that the others would have to bathe to. He wasn't about to allow himself to sit on Shoe's muddy shoulder who'd be sitting on FlipFlop's muddy neck.
"Okay, so... now that Flip's here, we should go back to the house! FlipFlop knows the way." Said the cowpig.

Shoe let out a reluctant "Ohhhhhh..." the same time FlipFlop let out a dissapointed sounding "Skreee....". Shoe was having too much fun being lost! He didn't want to go back yet..

"Besides... I'm huuuuungry." Fawsew said with a wink and a double raise of his brow. A sly buck-toothed grin as his tail wagged side to side slowly.

"..." Shoe stared as if beside himself. He had forgotten how hungry he was, but he damn sure remembered now. The hunger seemed to come back with a vengence. "Oh yeah... me too.."

The smell of freshly cooked meat filled the treehut, some spices mixed in as well. Jur had been loving the smell, and he personally had missed smelling it. He was extremely hungry, which was pretty obvious since his stomach was growling louder and louder it seemed each minute.
His hands dropped from petting the griffon and to his sides, he walked over to where Dog was, still sniffing the amazing smell of the meat.
"So, it is ready?" he questioned, "I was kind of zoning out." he admitted, and smiled only slightly, but then it soon faded away as he put himself in a chair at the table.
Arrow seemed to sigh and he nudged at Sun, curious about the little griffon. He chirped a few times, talking to her in that bird talk once again. His ears were pressed forward as he looked into her eyes and he was smiling himself. His heart was actually beating like mad, he was so happy and excited to be around new people that he could trust and become friends with. But he just barely trusted Dog; he would eventually get used to her and treat her almost like he treats Jur...almost.
Once Jur's stomach growled again, his face was growing red, and now he finally had meat in front of him. He began to eat it slowly, but he gradually picked up speed as the flavor was exploding in his mouth;he liked it.
After a few moments though, the meat was gone and the plate was clean of food, and Jur licked his lips.
'That was amazingly delicious! But I can't eat anymore...or I'll explode...I think I ate too much in the first place...' Jur thought, leaning back and stretching, a smile pressing at the corners of his mouth.
"That was really good, Dog. Thank you for taking the time to cook for so many people. Uhm, but can I get some raw meet to give to Arrow?" he asked her, noticing Arrow hadn't eaten just yet.
Arrow had been too focused on the small bright colored griffon to notice that his stomach was roaring for food, his mind was fully set on the things around him that were alive, like the people and the griffons...and Fawsew. But Arrow had noticed they left, but didn't bother worrying.

Keomai let off a light giggle, picking herself up, dripping in mud. She leaned down and picked Fawsew up, plopping him ontop of Flip. She looked at shoe, reaching over to grab his hand again. She smiled, looking over to flip flop. "Lead the way Flip~!"

Dog chewed on her meat like everyone else, blinking out of a half daze when Jur started speaking to her again. She looked up, then nodded, going back to her fridge pulling out another thigh, walking over to Jur. "Should I give it to him or you...?"

Sun was extatic about this. She chirped back whistling song like speak, her tail of feathers wagging like mad, tongue hagning out of the side of her beak. ;DDD

Shoe had a light grin on his face as he took Keomai's hand.

FlipFlop lead them on. A happy look on his raptoral beak, proud that he once again succeded in 'protecting Shoe' once again. A spunky bounce in his gate, still energetic from rolling in the mud.

"To him." Jur replied, "If you want him to like you more." he added on soon after, rubbing the back of his head. There were still some parts of him that were sore, but not as bad as his chest hurt before Dog healed him.
Jur was almost like a cat right now, sleep, eat, sleep again. But he didn't really want to sleep and be left out of conversations, even if he was just listening to them.
Arrow seemed like he was singing a song now, but just making conversation with Sun, his whistling was smooth and calm sounding, but Arrow's body was shaking and wiggling all with joy.
His bright blue eyes shinned, and his ears constantly flicked back and forth.
