Tree House

He felt as though the day had only just started. Probably because the first meal of the day he had today was late, around dinner time. Though these day have seemed to be going alot faster, maybe because of all the recent action.

He stood when Dog had taken Sinca away to rest, looking at Keomai who yawned. He almost caught the yawn, but stopped himself. He walked over to her, not really sure of where to go yet. He had grown used to staying in other people's houses, but only with his small group of three. Though he'd soon find a spot, as FlipFlop layed down, Shoe sat against him. The griffon's side propping up the boy's back in the same way at that small camp last night.

Keomai slept shallowly. early, very early morning even before the sun had risen she woke, and slipped out of the house. The tree house was near the coast, odd enough, which Keomai somehow found herself at the edge of a cliff that ended where the water started, luckily facing the east, where the sun would surely rise. When everyone else woke, she wouldn't be there. Did she run away again?

Shoe wasn't a creature of habit. He'd usualy get up early, because it'd be the time best for hunting. Once everything first awakes, it's relaxed until an attack happens. Once something is hunted, every other living creature is on guard for the rest of the day. However after having a large meal the night before after going hungry for so long, Shoe was ultimately passed out. However FlipFlop was a creature of habit when it came to raising with the sun, and Once the griffon stood, Shoe fell with a soft thud on the floor.

It wasn't, however, enough to wake him up.

Keomai sat at the edge of the cliff, kicking her feet back and forth, tail whisping around, watching the sun just barely peek over the horrizon line that the water set, making the difference between the water and the sky. The orange red and yellow mixed perfectly with her natural colors, blonde, now curly hair, orange eyes, and rosey skin.

Fawsew having the sun glare at his face from a window grunts & turns on his belly to sleep longer
having heard Shoes thump on the floor fawsew finaly woke up cuz he remembered he was in a weird place,
fawsew sleeply slipped off the couch & stepped on Shoe on his way but it didnt wake the boy, he was to tired from the previous day. & so faw did a big stretch having every bone in his body cracking once done faw started walking to the kitchen walking on the ball of his heel so that his toes wouldnt hit the hard wood floor making a big racket & wake anyone, he knew they were dead tired & wanted to sleep once to the kitchen he jumped on the counter to get a cup of water to drink, once done with his drink he went to the bathroom to take a quick shower, once done with his shower he came out with a towel tied around his waste & said looking at his dirty pants

"these pants are nasty >8P"

so he went to the laundry room to wash his pants not knowing ppl were getting up at around this time

Shoe's foot twitched and a light 'oof' escaped his lips when stepped on him, but he still didn't stur. He layed quietly for a few moments more, and at about the moment Fawsew had gotten out of the shower the boy opened one eye, then the other. He sat up and yawned, one arm supporting him as he rubbed a tired eye with the other. Looking around for a second, then over at Fawsew. His mind was in a little bit of a haze, for he hadn't noticed Keomai was missing yet.

"Hhhhey... when did you get up?" He asked, his eyes half shut, now using both arms behind him to prop himself up as he sat on the floor.

Keomai looked around her, smiling some. It was quiet, and peaceful. She liked times like this. She flopped back, arms behind her head resting against them. She could get used to this. She started humming a tropical tune, happy as can be~

fawsew jumped hearing shoes voice

"oy kid you scared me, err i got up about 30 mins ago" estimating how long he thought he took to do everything

walks toward the room with the washer & dryer "be right back leme see if my pants are done in the dryer"

fawsew grabbing his pants from the dryer, they seem abit damp but there ok to wear, faw was walking to the living room tossing his towel into the showers laundry basket across the hall now walking to shoe & takin a seat next to him

"sooo..." faw sead with one eyebrow raised at shoe

"i noticed you got alittle thing for this girl keomai" faw sead nudging shoes arm with his elbow

"& dont hide it from me the cowpig sees alllll" he said waving his fingers in the air like it was some kind of pixey dust

"& also your a terrible lier so dont try & hide it" fawsew sead with a smirk

fawsew did alittle laugh/snort "Ok kid spill the beans"

"Uh..I uh.." he didn't want to say. It's not that he didn't trust fawsew. He didn't want Faw to think that he'd gone soft in only two days with this girl. In was a strange, male pride quality. The idea that he didn't need anyone, that he'd lived with for so long.

"Hey! I can lie just fine..." He scoffed as he switched the subject. Looking wide awake now.

Keomai was drifting asleep with her legs hanging off the cliff. She was in total bliss, not realising that she was drifting asleep and wouldn't be there when everyone woke up. Nor remembering that she was a roller :U! ohmais

"pfft you'll tell me sooner or later" faw sead with a ¬3¬ look on his face

"so anywayz since we cant do much cuz of ppl recovering what are we gunna do now?" faw sead with a bord look on his face

"Tch... I dunno." He said, looking bored as well. Glancing around, he noticed that Keomai was missing. A tiny ball of cold sweat formed on his cheek as his pupils shrunk a little. His eyes darted around, his head away from Fawsew so he wouldn't see his worry.

"Mm.. gottagoseeya!" He said as he put a hand of Fawsew's head, using the cowpig's noggin as support as he quickly pushed himself up off the floor and scrambled himself over to his griffon. Shoe jumped onto FlipFlop, who had been sniffing around the house, and the two quickly charged outside.


"..." he scanned around, checking everywhere incase the cowpig had followed, or quickly clung onto his clothing as they rushed past him. "Ok FlipFlop, where'd Keomai go?" A small grin on his face.

With an ecstatic "Skree!" the griffon thundered off on foot, following the girl's scent. Gold, red, and orange leaves kicked up behind them, as if a whirlwind had just blasted them off the ground.

Keomai was smiling curled up at the edge of the cliff. They probably wouldn't have worried as much if Klitch hadn't been hidden under a blanket lol. It was such a nice looking place. =w- <3.

"hey watch the head" fawsew sead to shoe grunting

"OH NO YOU DONT you aint leavin me here with so random ppl i dunno >C" faw sead to shoe while running for Flipflop

"im stayin right here" pointing to flipflops butt where hes now sitting "...Ok maybe not "here" but somewhere in the vicinity i hate being left alone you know that"

fawsew grabs on to shoes scarf ends with his hands & places his feet on shoes back saying "HI HO SHOE AWAAAAY, giddyup boy"

Shoe had just noticed that the cowpig indeed clung on. A hard "Excuse me?" at that 'giddyup'. But who was he to complain, he should have seen it coming. Fawsew was a clever little creature.

They rode for only a short while, before FlipFlop slowed down. A sign that the scent was very strong, which ment that Keomai was close by. When FlipFlop stopped with Keomai in view, Shoe dismounted the griffon, who stretched his wings, neck and forelimbs with a cat-like bow. He saw the girl curled up by the cliff, not very sure of what she was up to. He glanced at Fawsew on his shoulder with a 'what the..' sort of look, and walked over to the girl.

Keomai rolled a little, snoozing, a few brightly fall coloured leaves in her hair. She was still smiling brightly, too close to the edge though ! She was deep enough sleeping to not notice the people coming up from from the forest line.

" is... is she dead?... QUICK SHOE look through he pockets for mouny >8D" he sead with a smile on his face "nahh im just kidding i think shes sleeping... should we wake her?" he whisper in shoes ear to not wake the girl

Shoe tossed Fawsew an amused look and said nothing. He turned his head and started walking over to her, but his face became tense, as he realised how close keomai was to the ledge. He picked up the pace, from a walk to a trot, from a trot to a run.

The next event to come wasn't an expected one. Keomai wasn't saved from the ledge by Shoe, nor was she thrown over falling to the water ;3. Something airborn, swooped down and cnatched her up, a shrill scream as she was abrupted woken up. A roar was heard, and as the object slowed it twas a dragon =w= omai.~

No, Shoe was....not expecting that.

After getting over the inital shock He looked over his shoulder and shouted for FlipFlop, who charged over. As the griffon passed him, he grabbed a hold of the thick collar around the griffons neck, and braced his feet on the massive sides of the beast. In a 'hunter's side saddle' type of way. As the neared the cliff edge he swung himself up onto the griffon's neck.

FlipFlop's wings were open like sails, catching the breeze, as he dove off the cliff edge....

Flying while riding FlipFlop was a relitivly new art for the boy. Only discovered during their journey, FlipFlop having been very young and not quite big enough to carry a human passenger through the skies, was just big enough to carry Shoe and Fawsew.
They seemed to just fall for a moment, until FlipFlop's wings cught the warm updraft, sending them skyward effortlessly. The broadwing glided higher, until pumping his wings as he gave chase.

Shoe had never seen a dragon before. Could this be the dragon that was distroying everything? why was it kidnapping Keomai?
Once again preforming the art which made the double bladed spear, the green glow faded as the weapon was finished in creation. He spun it high above his head, then held it at his side in a jousting fashion. Readying himself for an airial dog fight.

This was irrelitively crazy, what was happening. One minute she was sleeping peacefully and the next she was being kidnapped by a dragon? out of all the thrashing she tried to break free, she saw Shoe, and started trying to focus on him. The dragon, seeing the threat, roared at him, trying to plea its peace. At flapped its tremendous wings, trying to send Shoe back to the cliff side, screeching.

FlipFlop let out a struggled cry as the air was blasting at them with such uneven wakes. It was difficult for the young griffon to have a passenger under such a condition, but FlipFlop was strong, and determind. If they fell now, they would surely die. FlipFlop pumped his wings, each muscle screaming in protest. Going against the air current the dragon sent at them like a karp trying to jump up a water full. Slowly they were gaining.

Shoe had his eyes fixed on the damned beast's head with a firey stare. His hair blown wildly in the wind from the massive winged dragon, yet he was determined not to blink. Not yet, he can't afford to close his eyes, even if it's only for a second. He redied the spear, waiting for their slow approach to let him be close enough to throw it. Moving air currents are weaker then still ones, so throwing the spear should garentee it to peirce the air smoothly, but the fact that it would be facing a backward force, he had to be a little closer for it to work...just a little closer..closer.

His heart was about to beat out of his chest, addrennalin flooding his blood. The struggleing griffon, his best of friends, beneith him. He was hunting again.

The dragon rose its head, growing impatient with Shoe, who was still trying to get at him. He was TRYING to tell Shoe to stay back but things didn't seem to go that way. So instead, he growled bellow his breath and tossed Keomai off to the side, taking off. Another time this dragon would have to try.

"Keo!" he yelled as FlipFlop swirved off to the side, somewhat backward from the rough air, then folding his wings into a speeding glide toward Keomai.
Shoe caught her, holding her bridal style, but the moment she had landed in his arms, they plummetted. Two people was simply too much for the griffon to carry. Feathers flew everywhere, it all seemed in such slow motion, and Shoe was in such shock that he stopped breathing after a rhaspy gasp at the first downward tug of gravity. The griffon sunk his talons into the rockey edge of the cliff once they met it, sending sparks flying every which way. Yet rather then coming to a slow halt as he had hoped, he had suddenly come to an abrupt stop, sending Shoe and Keomai sliding quickly down his back and falling.

As if knowing what to do by instinct, Shoe had reached up as though to grab FlipFlop, who hooked his hind retractable claws into the cloth that the boy wore on his lower arm. At that same second, Shoe grabbed Keomai with his other hand.

With wide eyes that resembled a frightened animal's or a convicted madman's, the boy looked downward at the girl. Lips drawn back far, teeth showing in a nervous way.
"Hang on Keo!" he yelled. The determind urge to protect having swallowed up any shock.

Keomai shreiked, holding onto Shoe tightly, shaking, looking around nervously. This was by far all too much excitement right after waking up. Finally they were all hung up, and Keo was at the end, her feet dangling. "S-shoe..!!" She squealed, looking up at him. Luckily for them Dog had woken, not finding the majority of her new guests in the house. She, as a bounty hunter, easily followed the trail of broken twigs and leaves freshly left by the griff. She ran up to the edge, hearing all the screaming, seeing the dragon flying off. Sprinted back to the house, got some rope, and ran back. By now in the situation they were all hung, before the rope dropped down, the other end tied to a tree, nice and tight.
