Leaving the Camp Site

The next day it was sunny on one side with an incoming dark, looming cloud. It was far off though, so far off to not pay any attention to it.

Keomai had warmed up to Shoe over night, arms wrapped around him and such. She usually slept with Klitch like that. it was an undieing habbit.

Shoe woke up in his usual sluggish way, opening one eye followed by the other and a tired yawn. Stretching his arms high above his head and his legs out toward the now burnt firelogs, the fire having gone out at some time during the night. About mid stretch he paused and his eyes flung open, his mouth still agape with the yawn. He had nearly forgotten about Keomai resting on him, and too much of his motion may disturb her.

He slowly shifted himself back into his sleeping position, and looked at her. She looked so peaceful and warm an- he's still hungry. NOW it's ON. He had been thinking to himself that first thing in the morning, he wanted some food. Now it was morning, time for somthing to eat. And around here, you have to catch it first.

He put a hand on her shoulder and shook her lightly.
"Keomai..Keomai..KEO!"

FLipflop had woken early, his birdlike instinct making him awake with the dawn. Shaking his tail feathers he wandered a short distance from his owner, stretching his wings out a little to loosen out any stiffness from sleeping during the night.
The griffin was hungry himself sniffing around for signs of food. Starting to scratch around at the dirt as he searched for worms to nibble on while he waited for the others to get up and get moving so he could go get his morning snack.

Fawsew haven been awoken by the noming of flipflop with eyes still closed stands up hunched over puts his hands on his back & with a big push cracks his back making him widen his eyes open & lets out a little grunt

"ahhh thats gooood "

now wide awake looking at flipflop eating worms with a disgusted face on

"flip.... thats disgusting"

seeing flipflop with a big doppy smile on his face he climbs up the griffons tail crawls up his back to one of his shoulders

"Ok flipflop wheres shoe boy"

Keomai was shaking, her ears flopping some. She woke up through the shakes eventually, grumbling and leaning forwards, propped back against him trying her best to go back to sleep. She was a lazy one that she was. "five mo' minutes Klitch......!" She muttered, arms wrapping back around shoe. She'd never slept beside anyone but Klitch.

Klitch was awake now, sitting on the log he'd fallen asleep on, arms crossed. he'd been glaring at shoe lmao. This act only intesified his glare, he was so angry! >:C GRRR. No one steals his sleeping partner! ;o;

Flipflop merely glanced up at him when he heard Fawsew talking to him, a particularly fat worm hanging from his beak as it wriggled around desperate to get away. Flipping his head he quickly flicked the worm up into the air and caught it in his mouth eating it whole, giving a satisfied little squark.
Feeling the other climb up onto his back he twisted his head round, grumbling a little wanting to have his beak rubbed. The griffin was rather fond of being fussed.

"Keo wake up!"
Shoe said, as he continued to ignore Klitch's angry gaze. He glanced around and noticed that his two companions had wandered off, somewhere out of sight. Shoe was a rather gifted tracker, the two couldn't have gotten far anyhow. Shoe knew FlipFlop would be wanting breakfast, and Fawsew was most likely with FlipFlop, looking for him.

He wriggled free of Keomai, moving in a way without a struggle so she could rest some more. Kneeling by her side he scanned around, and soon saw the shifted leaves where FlipFlop must have walked through. But rather follow in that direction, he was looking for another trail. Something smaller, meatier...

He finds the signs of where a small animal must have been, and desided to get some breakfast. As he exited from the campsite, he held his hands infront of him, balled into fists as if he were being cuffed. Pulling his hands further and further apart, a long glowing weapon was forming, until a fully formed spear was made. It stopped glowing like a sword fresh from the furnace. A quick proud spin of the spear in one hand he stopped it behind him.

Crouching he continued on, the spear out of way behind him. Moving aside some branches on a small bush, he spotted a small plump furry animal. All he needed now was silence, and everything would be perfect..
just a few more second of quiet...

Keo curled up on that log and was sleeping just fine till Klitch started poking her sides. Her eyes shot open and she squirmed and rolled letting giggles escape here and there, rolling and trying to get away from the animal. "OKAY! I'm up I'm up!"

Klitch crossed his arms. "we should leave now, while they're all away." He said grouchily.

Fawsew now laying on Flips head he knocks on his head & waves infront of his face to get attention.

"hellooo anyone home we gotta find shoe"

"HELLOooo..." now snapping his fingers

noticing flipflop is staring at something "what are you looking at?"

noticing he spots a small furry animel "O.O; o god no... this aint good"

now holding on to flips fur/feathers as hard as he can, eyes shut tight, hoping he doesnt chase after the small creature.

In relation to where Shoe had gone off to hunt for breakfast. Flip wasn't that far away from him. His keen eyes having spotted movement in the bushes up ahead. Bobbing his head about a little to get a better look. Although he was rather fond of eating seeds he could never resist a good meaty meal.
Puffing his feathers out a little he suddenly broke out into a run bursting through the mass of leaves, wings tucked close to his body so he'd move faster. Within a matter of seconds it was all over, the kicked up dust and leaves falling to settle. The lifeless body hanging from his beak as he proudly trotted in a small circle to come back the way he came so he could eat in peace, however a glint of gold caught the corner of his eye. Head quickly snapping around he almost dropped the animal in his excitement to 'skreeee' at his master bounding over to him, his tail wagging from side to side frantically.

Shoe hadn't moved as a rush of fur and feathers blasted past and snatched his target only meters away. His white hair caught in the breeze created by the griffon, brushed across his face wich remains wide eyed with mouth hanging wide open.

He stayed like that with that rather silly looking shock plastered on his face until he was greeted by his faithful pet, FlipFlop, who had the limp body of the small animal in his massive beak.

Shoe stood, and rubbed the back of his head with his free hand and laughed a little.
"Hey, nice catch..!" He then patted the griffon's beak in much a style people would pet a horse's long snout.

Keomai looked up at Klitch, resistant. Klitch scowled at this face and scolded her. "We need to fix the device so we can go home Keomai. Have you already forgotten that?" This unwelcomed reminder made her sigh and she stood up. "Fine... Where'd we leave that thing anyways..?" She stepped over Klitch, headed in the way she could have sworn they had come, trying hard not to want to look back.

Fawsew still clung on to the huge griffin eyes wide open & mouth wide open still screaming

" STOOOOOOOOOP D8>>> "

once stopped fawsew stood up

*snorts* "if you ever EVER DO THAT AGAIN ILL >C" *grunt*

once out of his pissy rage he jumped off flip & climbs upon shoes left shoulder & looks at shoe

"shoe we should really train flip or something..."

Flip let out a grumble when his beak was rubbed, eyes half closing as he held still for the moment before he was bumping Shoe's hand up to move further up his head wanting to have a head scratch. Oh yes, he certainly loved having fusses.
Pulling his head away when he heard Fawsew speaking behind him however, twisting his own round to more or less look behind himself almost like an owl. He let out a snort at him puffing up his feathers again, trying to take a snap at him, but not wanting to loose his breakfast he was forced to just bump him with his beak.

"Haha, train 'im? We don't need to train him, he's plenty smart. See? He understood what you said!"

He said as he sunk his fingers into the downy feather's of FlipFlop's face. He stopped and repeated the action he did to make the spear to make it vanish, and hooked a finger into FlipFlop's collar pulling him along for a few steps and letting go once he knew FlipFlop would follow.

He reached the camp to find that it was empty. He was a little shocked at first, thinking something had happened and Keomai would be in danger. But there was no sign of any struggle, maybe she simply left.

Shoe would have NONE of THAT. Noone leaves, not until he gets to say goodbye.
He again hooked his finger into the thick collar around FlipFlop's neck and pulled him as he ran as fast as he could, knowing that Fawsew would throw a fit after for not giveing him a 'hang on tight' warning AGAIN.

Keomai staggered over branches and what not struggling to keep herself balanced in such an uneven terrain. Finally, the broke into the clearing where across the feild was the small device leaned against a tree, the smoke having stopped. She smiled some. "There it is." She said, hand on her hip.

"yahno how hard it is to find comfortable pants this small?....not very easy...."

"HEY where are we going anywayz?"

Flip was still carrying the poor animal in his beak not having had a chance yet to put it down to eat it. Being tugged by the collar made him walk after a moment faithfully following his owner. He would most likely follow Shoe anywhere he went he loved the boy dearly like how any dog would adore it's master.
When he broke out into a run however that had the Griffin skreeing a little in delight quickly thundering after him, splaying his wings a little allowing the wind to catch them. He loved to run and feel the wind rustle his feathers.

The heavy tug at the end of his ponytail seemed to have no effect on Shoe, Not even a jolt back of his neck, as his focus was on the uneven path ahead. As he leads FlipFlop along in an almost unconscious way, he remembers where he had first seen Keomai, and judgeing by this trail, that's where she'd be.

Though it seemed like moments, it could only have been seconds by the time he had reached Keomai and Klitch near the 'device' they had spoken about yesterday.

"Keomai!"

Keo turned her head stopping the progression, a little wide eyed when she saw who it was that had called her out. Her mouth gaped a little words not able to come out. Klitch however was not so dumbfounded. Stepping infront of keomai, klitch glowed white, molding into a more humanoid like body. still covered in furr with HER long ears, Klitch put her hands on her hips. klithc was actually... a GIRL?! By the way she dressed and acted one would have thought her to be a male. "Leave her alone!" >:C

Flip pounded on, his heavy bulk easily snapping twigs beneath his claws, awkwardly letting out another exceited skree from behind his breakfast, still determined not to let it go. Running beside Shoe as he pushed his way through bushes and low hung branches he could easily have over taken the boy but chose not to since he wouldn't be able to keep an eye on where he was going.
However when Shoe came to a halt the Griffin skidded, spreading his wings to slow himself down before he went tumbling head over heels. Spotting Keomai up ahead he let out a little grumble, bouncing around on his feet, spreading his wings again as a sign of excitement to see the other up ahead.

"woah woah WOAH BOY calm down" fawsew said to the ecstatic Flipflop

now turning his head back to shoe

"soooo shoe are you going to introduce use or do i have to?"

Fawsew jumped off of shoes shoulder & puts his hand to his chest & takes a bow to greet the two

"my name is Fawsew & ill be your cowpig for this evening & this big hunk of fur & feathers is Flipflop"

looks up at the the very protective Klitch & peering at Keomai behind her

"sooo thats Keomai judgeing by the way your staring at her shoe"

Fawsew kicks shoes out of his gaze

Shoe was indeed staring back at Keomai, not even realiseing, until Fawsew snapped him back into reality with a light kick. He bumbled his words in an awkward way for a second, wanting to say so much to her all in one moment.
He finally was able to sum it all up. "You left with out saying goodbye...so I.." He was trying to keep his face cool and evaded any eye contact by looking around. Having only met her yesterday, he didn't want to make it seem like he was clingy, though he felt as if he had known her for a long time.

Keomai smiled a little, leaning this way and that trying to look at him from behind Klitch, before she stared at the back of the girls head. "Don't ignore me damnit!! >:C" Keomai frowned, backing away some, before sprinting to the side and around the girl, running towards Shoe. The second she was within distance, she tackled him. "I didn't wanna go!" She complained in a 'but she made me' sort of tone. Klitch, was dumbfounded.

Once the bird had finished bouncing around in a happy sort of state to see the other girl, he dropped the prey that was in his mouth, starting to tuck in, ripping bits of meat off to eat he tossed it up into the air each time and caught it, swallowing it whole. His keen eyes following where Keomai was going, head nearly twisting round on itself when she ran past him to tackle his owner, giving out a little gurgle of delight.
