It seemed as if FlipFlop's joyful disposition had warmed Jur up. Shoe wasn't very surprised, Flip's happy-go-lucky nature awesome seemed to brighten up any room. He felt a beam of pride knowing that he had the luck of growing up with the griffon, But it was only expressed though a confident smile.
Jur's words were true however, there was alto of people here, and the words 'there's always a reason for what happens' rang through his ears. Words he forced himself not to believe, but always seem to haunt him. What was it that brought a group such as this together so suddenly? He had no words to reply with, he felt they were unnecessary.

The Griffin always was happy but he never really had a reason not to be. Life was good for the beast, he had as much food as he wanted and a great companion. Letting out a deep grumble putting his beak against Arrow's again, before walking around to bump his head up against his cheek in an affectionate manner and also as a hello. He loved meeting his own species when he could.

Jur's smile soon faded, "I guess they'll be gettin' along nicely." Jur said, looking back at Shoe.
"I'm Jur, and that's Arrow." he said only a few heartbeats later, dropping his hands to his side and he limped over towards Shoe, offering his hand.
Jur's eyes showed that he was more relaxed, and he was giving Shoe his trust, and trusting the boy himself.
Arrow wrapped his front arms around Flipflops next, more in a playful manner. He was pushing the pain that he had out of the way, and he pressed
his cheek against Flips cheek and chirped again.

Shoe at first wasn't sure what the approach was about until Jur offered his name and a handshake. Though Shoe is obviously an aloof type, he's more then happy to form a friendship then an enemy. He could tell that Jur must be a good person if a griffon is willing to live by his side and protect him in such a way.

With a grin on his face, the boy returns the handshake, his palm quickly landing with a clap against Jur's.
"I'm Shoe." He said with a double shake then releasing Jur's hand. "That's FlipFlop, This is Keomai, and..." he said turning his face to who the names belonged, however there was one missing.

"..Fawsew?" He said looking behind himself. He could only assume the pudgy cowpig either stayed behind for some reason, with Klitch perhaps? Or was puffing his way over to Shoe as he spoke.

"It appears our cowpig for this evning isn't among us." He said with an amused-joking expression, mostly toward FlipFlop. Shoe and Flip knew Fawsew better then most here, having traveled thus far together.

The griffin let out a chirp himself raising up onto his hind legs to wrap his arms round the others neck, bumping his cheek up against the others, his beak open in delight. Pulling back from him he spread his wings, lowering front half down on the floor, behind wiggling in the air as a playful gesture his tail feathers looking a lot like a fan being shaken back and forth. The Griffin wanted to play.
However hearing the joke Shoe made about Fawsew he flicked his head to look over in his general direction and chirped at him that almost sounded like a laugh.

Jur laughed slightly, "A cowpig, aye? I haven't seen one of those since I was a child." Jur said, "Nice to meet you Shoe,Keomai, and Flipflop..." he said, tucking his hands into his pockets.
"Flipflop is very interesting, he's in amazing shape." Jur said, looking back at the two griffons who began to play now.
Jur took one of his hands and placed it on his chest, it was beginning to throb, but he didn't show his discomfort on his face. He had grown up enough now to learn how to hold back emotion, though there was still evidence of how he felt.
Arrow chirped more loudly than before and lunged forward using his hind legs and tackling Flipflop, knocking the griffon down. Pain now was nothing to Arrow, he was just happy to around his own kind for once, it made his heart feel like it would pop from his chest.

Shoe was always willing to talk about his loyal griffon. He felt a subtle pride in thinking he made this powerful but loving and intelligent creature. They had grown up together, and been through a lot. Constantly in the outdoors doing something to keep the blood flowing, the effect it had on FlipFlop was his shining feathers and fur, toned muscle that rippled under the mighty beast's skin. Shoe would never let anything happen to FlipFlop of any harm, because griffon was his family. Shoe would be hard on himself if anything happened to Flip.

Of course, all of their activity had its effect on the boy. His endurance, strength, senses, build. He and the griffon were very much alike. Other then the whole separate species thing...
"Haha. Yeah.. we lead an active life."

Flip let out a screech when he was tackled, allowing the other to push him over and onto his back, wings extending either side so as they didn't get caught underneath himself, that would hurt if he landed on them awkwardly. He knew he shouldn't be too tough on the other griffin since he was injured, his play being a lot more gentler then normal and letting the other win more then once with their tackles just to be nice to him.

Arrow chirped more an more, he was truely happy right now to the point where he could feel no pain, just happiness. He leapt off of the griffon, and skreed more loudly, his smile growing and his eyes seeming to glow.
Once Arrow was cleaned up, he would look just about the same in health as Flipflop did, just of course, different colors. He dug his claws in the earth as he lowered the front part of his body down just as Flipflop had done, his tail wagging just like a dogs.
Jur nodded, "I can tell. I've practically spend my whole life outside, so, we're both in good shape when we haven't fallen through tree's and cut ourselves up." Jur said sighing, his hand still resting on his sore chest.
He chuckled some as he watched the two new friends playing, they did sure become friends a lot faster than Jur expected.

keomai had been standing there the whole time, if your deffinition of leaned against a tree sleeping was standing. lmao. explains why she was so quiet.

Dog had been off to the side, caught up in all her own little business, thinking about things like this and that. Finally when she came back to it, everyone was aquanted it seemed. She looked around, then back to Jur, before back to the other group with a double take. Wait when'd they get there? She took a step or two back, looking at Shoe.

Shoe looked a little confused at Dog who had made a sudden approach. From what he was watching earlier, Dog was a very trustworthy and helpful type, so he didn't bother to take any steps back. But at the same time, he simply didn't quite know her yet.

Flipflop took to bounding around the group, skreeing happily as he went, running back around to paw at Arrow playfully with his front legs, careful to do it gently since he did have quite a deadly talon attached to each toe. His feathers puffing up once more before he went charging off again spreading his wings and flapped them about, the gust of wind that his wings were making was enough to make him rise off the floor a little with each bound that made him appear to be very light on his feet.

Arrow squealed with joy and he followed Flipflop, he couldn't fly again just yet. It would probably be while before he could fly right, too many of his feathers were destroyed on his wings. His wings were tucked in extremely close to his body as he ran around with Flipflop, beak open, chirping.
Jur looked over to Dog, "Welcome back to the land of the living." he said to her, and right when he was getting ready to talk, he was shoved backwards by the two griffons, knocking him from his not so strong position. He fell right on his butt, and he grunted as he slowly fell onto his back. There were practically cuts all over his body, and he was covered with bruises, and so it was a very painful fall.
He didn't speak, he now just slowly pushed himself up, but still sat on the ground, wrapping his arms around his stomach, his face red from holding back a yell or the tears from the pain.

Dog meeped a little, crouching forwards to tend to him. "Jur...! Are you okay?" She wasn't too pleased with all the sudden action but oh well. She shot a glance at the gryphs, before trying to help him to stand again. "We were just heading to my tree hut, to tend to him... You can join us if you like.." She couldn't help but make a nervous glance to the two oversized birds.

Keomai eventually slid off of the tree and fell forwards lmao.

It seemed like the silence was all broken at once. As Dog went to the aid of Jur, Shoe jumped over to catch Keomai. The light force of his grab was probably enough to disrupt her sleep.

"Oh we.. actually we're headed NorthEast from here." He looked at Keomai with a questioning look, them having not truly finished their chat before. His expression seemed to speak the words 'right?'

He felt the weight of something pulling at his clothing, and looked to his shoulder to see the angry face of Fasew. Shoe's face was a displeased one as he waited for the 'When I say wait up, WAIT UP!!!' scolding he was about to get.

Jur grunted as he began to sit up,by then Arrow had realized his compainon had fallen and was over there, pushing Dog away and helping him off the ground.
Arrow gave an appologetic look and coo'ed softly, rubbing his cheek against Jur's uninjured cheek.
He didn't reply by speaking, he only ran his fingers through the birds feathers on his other cheek, his eyes soon jerked over to Fawsew, and he titled his head, "So, that's the cowpig? Smaller than the ones I've seen before..." he mumbled, now actually showing some pain in his face by squeezing his eyes semi shut and grinding his teeth together.
Arrow lowered himself to where Jur could climb onto his back, he helped Jur up onto his back by nudging him with his beak.
"Thanks boy..."

Dog looked over to arrow as she stumbled back slightly. "I wish sun were here..." She muttered to herself. Sun was the baby gryph she had be housing. The name given to the little bird because her coat was that of bright yellow brilliant and shining feathers. SIGH. She looked back up to Jur. "Should we be going then...?"

Keomai did indeed stirr from her sleep, wrapping her arms around shoe sleepily, yawning. She was so used to sleeping alot.

Overhead that seamingly unnoticed storm cloud had come much much closer with the passing time, threatening to pour down on the group any minute now. tired of being ignored, it let its monsterous boom called thunder ring out through the trees and empty feilds, growling deeply, a clash of lightning lighting up the sky.

Flipflop had been charging about pretty oblivious as to where he was going, looking over his shoulder as he let out a skreeeee at Arrow for him to follow after him, having been about to take off into the air, desperately wanting to take off now his wings were spread. However when he crashed into Jur he had to swerve off course, using his wings and tail feathers to skid to a halt kicking up a load of dirt once more. Sheepishly lowering his head he looked over his shoulder, walking back over to see if Jur was okay, giving a couple of chirps as if he was apologizing for crashing into him.

His turned his displeased face away from the scolding Fawsew. Drifting his teenage mind onto other things, like how hungry he still was. A tree fort was starting to sound nice now...

Shoe was very used to the weather and anything it would throw at him. Spending most of his time outside, he's been snowed on, rained on, and so on. However lightning storms, even he knew that it's best to be indoors.

He glanced at Keomai, wishing for her to wake up. He needed her opinion, It was her choice for her to stay in a different dimension other then her home. And what about Klitch? He wanted to be sure she was set on her choice. However words would have to wait, for any minuet now there was going to be the crash of thunder that signifies the storm is directly over head.

"Where is this tree fort?" He asked Dog. His entire tribe lived up in the trees, and a part of him was eager to see a house lifted up by supporting and powerful branches once again.

Jur was barely sitting up on Arrow, his copper eyes locked onto Dog as he waited for her to answer Dog's question, but then he doubled over onto Arrow, his face burried now in the birds feathers. He was making sure no one could see how much pain he was in right then, he hated looking weak in front of others, especcially in front of new, hopefully, friends.
Arrow chirped at Dog, wanting her to hurry and take them to their destination. Then Arrow looked back at Flipflop and he coo'd in appology towards his new friend. They could play later, of course if they were all still together.
Jur's was clinching his fists, holding an abundant amount of feathers that were on Arrow's neck, and the bird could sense his discomfort.

Dog got tense for a second and as the thunder passed she let out a sigh. "Not far from here.... Follow me then." She muttered, looking up to Jur with consern, before speed walking deeper into the forest. "Sun is going to have a feild day..." she thought out loud.

Keomai was awoken easily by the sudden thunder. it scared the life out of her. Klitch came running through the bushes back in her tiny form, looking for Keomai, knowing very well the girl was deadly afraid of storms. Manya bad things happened to her durring storms. Her grip on shoe got tighter, and she trembled, eyes wide open now. "S-sh-shoe...." She frowned.

Flipflop was a little sad he couldn't continue to play with his new found friend, but the storm wasn't good news. Although he didn't mind the rain he didn't like how heavy the water made his wings and feathers feel when they were wet.
Eager to travel with his new friend he rounded round to walk back to Shoe, letting out a deep grumble and bumped his arm with his head, quickly bringing his head up to nod at his back. Gesturing for Shoe to get on so they could travel with the others. He was used to Shoe riding around on his back and he'd come to not mind it, the boy wasn't exactly heavy and he knew how to sit so as not to get in the way of his wings when he flew.
