Kanehe, starting the story

She blinked a little and looked up at him for a moment longer before clearing her throat and smiling, pulling back some. "S-so anyways...! Its getting dark...! We should keep going..!" She rubbed the back of her head some, keeping the squirming klitch's face in the ground.

With that he stood and looked skyward slighly, it was true. Pretty soon it would be dark enough for them to see the campfire by its glow.
However they were actually very close to the campsite, only a few bushes away infact, as the smell of the campfire hung thick in the air.
Shoe then looked to her and extended a helping hand,even though he knew that once she got up, Klitch would be free from her face-ground hold.

"Well?"

Keomai smiled and took his hand, hopping over klitch who quickly shot up gasping for air. He growled under his breath, dusting himself off. this was not justice! She couldn't take her eyes off of his face now, just staring and smiling, slightly tripping but catching herself here and there. She hadn't let go of his hand, her's still cold. She was still cold.

At first her gaze almost made him want to avoid eye contact. He wasn't entirely sure what it ment, or what exactally it was for, or even why it had him wanting to look away. However he slowly returned her look, and even slipped a grin.

As she held his hand, he held hers back, and he continued to lead her though the bushes and branches until they had reached the campsite.

She used her other arm to push some hair out of her face, before looking forwards at the campsite, smiling. Klitch was following behind, silently for now. Just as before she had began walking closer and closer to him for heat, and maybe even something else by now. She looked around, blinking. "It looks cozy..!" She said with a smile.

The campsite itself wasn't anything much, infact there was no tent. Simply a camp fire, which looked a little startved since Shoe failed to finish his wood fetching mission. Still, it was enough to give off the strong wood burning scent, and a respectable amount of heat. There were small logs arranged around it as seats, and leaning against one of the log seats was Fawsew, fast asleep, his pig-like snout causing a soft grunt or snore every so often. His arms folded across his pudgy belly.
FlipFlop was also asleep. The golden tag around his color flashing reflections of the camp fire. His great sides heaving in and out, slowly and deeply. A hind leg or wing tip twiching with his dreams.

"It's only a temporary spot. We're leaving in the morning." he said, refuring to Fawsew, FlipFlop, and himself. He was wondering what she had to say about that. Where did she have to go?

He stood there with an awkward silence hanging in the air, aside from Fawsew's soft grunting snores. Looking at her from the corner of his eye, he had nearly forgotted about this handlock they had formed.

Loosening his grip a little, "I'm going to get some firewood before we loose the campfire.."

For a second as some odd reaction she held his hand a little tighter to make up for his slack, but became conscious of this and let go, pulling her hand behind her back. How embarrassing. "okay...!" She nodded, agreeing with his decision. She was a bit stuck on his first comment, but she refused to acknowledge it till she had a proper answer to reply with. She turned around picking up Klitch, who when he got the chance while she wasn't looking, made rude faces at shoe. She carried him over to a log, away from the creatures, eyeing them cautiously.

Shoe hadn't noticed Klitch's faces. Infact, Shoe was stubbornly paying as little attention to Klitch as possible.

It wasn't long before he returned with some decent branches for the flame. He sat across from Keomai, and fed the sticks and branches into the flame in a way as to not set off stray sparks or shift burning leaves. He leaned back and used FlipFlop as a giant beanbag. Arms crossed across his chest, he looked at her from across the flames at first. Then to the right and upward. Ignoreing how hungry he had gotten. If Shoe hated anything, it was being hungry.
But for now it was something he was simply going to have to ignore.

Keomai had her hands out, klitch curled up sleeping in her lap once he got back. She was nodding off as it was, the heat keeping her cozy and drowsy. She was so happy to be warm, that she didn't even notice that she was a little hungry herself. Oh well. She looked over at him after a few dazed moments, and smiled some, her eyes fixated on him, not really noticing that she was staring.

He looked a little tired, or maybe he was simply bored. If there were any major events for today, they had recently passed, and he was simply going to have to wait for tomorrow. However Tomorrow never seemed so far, as he was finding it difficult to ignore his hunger, and it kept him wide awake.

He didn't even notice how she was looking at him, he seemed lost looking into the distance between the trees. However as if he was just reminded of her presence, he glanced at her. She sure seemed tired, but she was staring. Was there something she wanted? He didnt avert his eyes incase there was.

She blinked a little, sitting up some for a second when she realized he was staring back. She blinked, then clearned her throat. "..!" despite her best efforts she leaned back down some, now for the pure fact that there seemed to be a lock on gaze, did she continue to stare. She shivered, finally breaking that gaze, looking to the floor putting her hands back out towards the fire.

Shoe stared for a little while more, almost as if he were waiting for something to be said. He blinked once again returned his gaze to the distance, then toward the sky. If only he wasn't so hungy, he'd be passed out much like Klitch, Fawsew, and Flip Flop. He wondered what was keeping Keomai awake, maybe she was hungry too.

He closed his eyes, head still skyward with Flip Flop as his head rest, and tried to catch even the slightest sense of groggyness.

A while longer would pass by and Keomai became even groggier, her head dipping down before popping back up. Finally, Shoe would feel something against his side, her arms wrapping around him as if he were a giant body pillow. Keo had semi-sleep crawled over to him, curling up on Flipflop the best she could, leaning against Shoe's side to stay warm, leaving Klitch on the log.

The moment he was touched his eyes sprang open, but his body was motionless aside from his head. No longer facing upward, he was looking at her face. A somewhat surprised look on his. He wondered what would ever make her do that. She really seemed comfertable around him. He found that rather rewarding as he also enjoyed the pressence of this guest.

He once again leaned his head back on FlipFlop, and finally nodded off, having forgotten his hunger.

She was still slightly awake, even after he'd fallen asleep. She was stuck in mid drift for the time being. She curled up into a ball, too tired to worry that she was resting against a complete stranger, and on an even stranger creature's stomach. All she cared about was that she was warm, and comfortable.
